Screw elements are the key working components of a twin-screw extruder, and they greatly affect the quality and output of the final plastic products.
High-quality screw elements can improve the mixing, shearing, diffusion, and reaction performance of plastic molecules, and reduce the frequency of machine part replacement to control your production costs.
The screw elements and kneading blocks are designed precisely, processed accurately, and can be flexibly combined, with interchangeability to achieve efficient self-cleaning, conveying, compounding, and punching molding.The screw is made from high tool steel 38CrMoAlA or W6Mo5Cr4V2 after special heat treatment, possessing high corrosion resistance and high wear resistance.

Thread components are divided into conveying thread assemblies, shearing thread assemblies, and special thread assemblies.
(1)The thread conveying assembly includes: forward thread conveying assembly and reverse thread conveying assembly.
(2)Cutting thread components: Mainly refers to kneading blocks, which provide higher shear forces and have the ability to distribute and disperse mixtures. They are always used in pairs or in series.
Common parameters include 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°. Different parameters have different functions and effects.
(3)Special threaded components: TME, ZME, SF, SK, single-piece kneading blocks, etc.

Processing characteristics:
• Internal grooves are inspected 100% with slotted cap gauges to ensure interchangeability of components.
• All parts are manufactured using hot CNC grinding, with shape tolerances controlled within ± 0.015.
• The tolerance for nip block distance and plate thickness is controlled within ± 0.03.
• Length tolerance is controlled within ± 0.01.
• Surface roughness is ≤ Ra0.8, completely eliminating the impact of heat treatment distortion on part quality.
• High-speed steel powder processed with European HIP technology is used, and heat treatment processes are strictly adhered to for other parts.
